Black tea
Our Black teas are the most fermented and oxidized, giving them a distinctly strong color and flavor. Its taste is most removed from that of the tea leaf’s natural state with barely touched white tea on the opposite end of the spectrum. In addition, it involves the most steps in its manufacturing process out of all the kinds of tea from the camellia sinensis plant. Black tea is on average one of the most caffeinated types of tea with 42-79 mg per 8 oz serving. However, white tea, yellow tea, and a brewed cup of coffee still beat black tea in the caffeine department. Of course, the actual caffeine in your particular cup of tea will vary depending on brand, steep time, and other factors.
